Chef Ray completed a course of Hotel and Restaurant management thru the Professional Career Development Institute and his certification exam thru the National Restaurant Association and was certified Chef de Cuisine, a classification for a “working” Executive Chef. Chef Ray apprenticed at The Black Tulip under Executive Chef Tom Heitpas, where he became Chef.

Main Course

Pick two of the following proteins for the main course:

  • Shrimp - Choose your style: Skewered, Hot or Cold Peel & Eat (EZ peel deveined), Sautéed, or Fried. Choose your flavor: Blackened, Jerked, or Grilled (excluding Fried)
  • Fish - Choose your fish: Mahi, Salmon, or Tuna. Choose your flavor: Blackened, Jerked, or Grilled.
  • Chicken - Fried, Blackened, Jerked, or Grilled
  • Pulled Pork - Sweet and tendered pulled pork with a BBQ flavor.
  • Beef - Burgers, Steaks, or Hotdogs. Steaks can very depending on the choice you prefer.
Sides

Pick one of the following as your side choice:

  • Rice - Choose between white, yellow, pilaf, or Caribbean style with a zest.
  • Mashed Potato - Chose between white, red, or garlic mashed potato.
  • Fries- Your choice of French fries or sweet potato fries.
  • Pasta- Fettuccini, calponin, or ziti.
  • Steamed Vegetable- Mixed vegetables of peppers, onion, zucchini, squash, and carrots
Trays

Pick one of the following to keep the party going while your meal is being prepared:

  • Vegetable Tray - Seasonal vegetable consisting of celery, carrots, red and green peppers with dressings for dipping.
  • Fruit Tray - Variety of seasonal fruits consisting of honey dew, cantaloupe, pineapples, strawberries and oranges.
  • Cheese Tray - Cubed or sliced Cheddar, Swiss, and Pepper jack
Add-Ons

Add on any of the following to your catering event for an additional $2.50 per person.

  • Vegetable Tray - Seasonal vegetable consisting of celery, carrots, red and green peppers with dressings for dipping.
  • Fruit Tray - Variety of seasonal fruits consisting of honey dew, cantaloupe, pineapples, strawberries and oranges.
  • Steamed Vegetable - Mixed vegetables of peppers, onion, zucchini, squash, and carrots.
  • Bread-Hawaiian Rolls or Garlic Knots
Desserts

For an additional $2 per person, you can add assorted dessert bites consisting of house made brownies, cookies, cheesecake bites, and muffins.

Casual Catering

Want something more casual? We have the following options available for $14.95 per person.

  • Nacho and Taco Bar - Shredded chicken and/or taco meat with lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa and sour cream with soft flour tortillas.
  • Chicken Tenders and Fries - Fried chicken tenders with your choice of fries along with dipping sauces available.
